Has anyone read any scientific papers since Feb 4th for AZ

I've had my jab and I'm not anti vacc.

I've not seen any new information regarding AZ in the real world. I've read papers on Pfizer (and the new info on use on children) and Moderna (US published) but I've not found any new information on AZ. Have I missed it or has it not been published?

I've been looking as I am interested which is the most effective vaccine for variants at the moment.

Nothing conclusive but to be honest the sun is out the garden needs a good sort out so I haven't looked too deeply. Might do next week when it's cooler and garden jobs done!

A couple of publications in the BMJ:

Thanks for that, I had seen them and forgot. This is still American research, why is there nothing from the UK after 11 million shots have been administered?

Are you looking for more RCT results, WJ?
The UK jab roll out isn't an RCT.
Can't even run a case control study in the UK (given the universal roll out to people by age band).
Could try a cohort study but would assume those who declined the vaccine have different risk factors from those who eagerly got the jab.
Not sure what study design you're after.

One of those BMJ links was an opinion piece & the other one is gossip about a press release but that press release should turn into a proper article about RCT results, at least.

Thanks, interesting reply and clearly shows your knowledge and my lack of. I want real life information, up until early Feb there was data being published showing how AZ was working. I've found more recent data for Pfizer, if we have given 18 million injections why isn't there more information about how effective it has been?
