Our borough has just announced any adult can pop down to the local vaccination centre and get their jab today. Can't believe we're at this stage already! Is this happening anywhere else? I'm in London.

For everyone saying my info isn't correct- 6 of my friends got vaccinated there yesterday, all in their late 30s/ early 40s with no health conditions. I think the twitter ingo isn't quite correct as the info you receive when you get in the queue is that anyone can join it. They were very please with its success and will be running more days like this in the near future so keep your eyes peeled!

I saw it on Twitter this morning. Seems the official line was that you had to be over 50 or be in an at risk group but then in reality anyone could queue up.
I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out, it’s worth the trek to Walthamstow

Nope. I’ve been put back on the priority list and even if any one could figure out how to join the dots on there are no appointments around here.

Walthamstow is a very culturally diverse area with pockets of real deprivation- perhaps the idea is that by making it as easy as possible to get the vaccine it will bring in those who are hesitant and/or from an ethnic minority background where take-up is lower
