Just as the title says really, government guild lines for prenancy and employment say once your 28 weeks your employer must either accommodate you by allowing you to work from home or suspend you with pay.

Do you think this will change soon with shielding officially coming to an end on April 1st? Just after opinions really?

*stopping! Doh! That’s what I get for writing this with a toddler around. 😅

Not sure, but the pregnancy guidelines were separate from shielding so may not end at the same time. I imagine they are more likely to be stopped in the May or June relaxations rather than now.

Pregnancy guidelines are unrelated to shielding.

Only those with certain specified cardiac issues were asked to shield in pregnancy, and those who were shielding move to the general population guidelines tomorrow. But the deshielding letter this time still recommends minimising contact with other people, though you can attend a workplace.
