How to get vaccine texts to stop?

Is there any way to stop the nhs texts asking me to have the vaccine?

I'm not going to have it. I can't have it due to severe allergies which has been agreed with my drs. So the messages from my GP have stopped as we've agreed I'm not having it.

But I'm on the shielding list ( I didn't shield I never wanted to) so get a text literally every other day asking me to get the vaccine. I feel hounded as this has been going on for about two months now and I'm wanting to know if anyone knows a way I can get the messages to stop - is there anyone I can ring to get my name off the list?

It doesn't bother me at all not having the vaccine, I've had covid and it was very mild, and even if I hadn't had it it wouldn't bother me - my drug reactions are so severe you couldn't pay me to have the vaccine.

I have multiple health issues which are causing me massive problems at the moment and these endless messages just seem to be adding to my stress

(Please if you're going to tell me to get the vaccine or anything along those lines, I'd appreciate you not doing. I csnt have it).

Block the number

HamFisted · 30/03/2021 06:09

Yeah, block it.

I don't think I can because it comes from an nhs number but in that thread of messages I also have appointment reminders for other things. I have a lot of health issues and a lot of reminders for things, so if I blocked the numbers I would lose texts I actually need

0300 561 0240. I rang to book mine and you get through to an operator. I’m sure if you did that and asked them to remove you from the register it might stop?

Thank you! I will try that!

I know it sounds silly but they're literally every other day and I have so many health issues currently and have already spent ages in hospital this year, that it's just really getting to me constantly being messaged.
