Does anyone know - can my fiance fly from Germany to the UK on April 26th?

For a two week visit? Quarantine is no problem and I can collect and deliver him directly to the airport but can he actually come? I cant go to Germany under current rules but does anyone know if he can come here? We havent seen each other since September and we both have time off work coming up from the 26th.
Any thoughts or advice appreciated!

Where in the UK is he flying to? Different rules in different regions.

Yes he can. He would need to have a negative test in Germany before flying, quarantine at yours for 10 days (or get a test to release on day 5), and pay for a travel test package which costs £210 which includes a day 2 and a day 8 test. If Germany requires a negative test to fly back he would need another test before flying home.

Only issue is if Germany ends up on the red list, I would say that's unlikely. Get him a direct flight definitely not one that goes via France as France could end up on the red list soon which could mean direct flights (from France to uk) cancelled.

Ps he also needs to check if Germany will allow him to leave!

He can as of today but there are talks about some European countries getting to the red list which imo could be France / Italy and Germany (just by the numbers ) if that’s the case then he needs to isolate at the hotel instead of at home
