Covid Guidance Positive test within the household

Hi, I wonder if anyone could clarify something for me.
My son tested positive on 15/3 so as a household we began our isolation which was due to end on 26/3. Test and trace called to confirm the positive and told us during the 10 day isolation if any other household members tested positive we were to restart the 10 day isolation.
My husband tested positive on 23/3 so we have restarted the 10 day isolation.
Question - does my son who tested positive on 15/3 still have to isolate?! The guidance on my interpretation says not.
I will be calling the covid helpline tomorrow but just wanted to see if anyone could advise.
Thank you

I hope your DH is ok & that you don't get it!

No as long as he’s completed his isolation period :) x

No your sons isolation period ends on the 26 and as long as he feels better and no longer has symptoms, he is fine to end isolating.

If your DS is still running a temperature (or has other strong symptoms) he should continue to isolate until he is properly better (rule of thumb for other diseases is 24 hours unmedicated with a normal temperature)
