Anyone else had a metallic taste after having the vaccine?

Had the jab at 9.30 this morning and since I've had a metallic taste in my mouth.

I had the AZ. Anyone else?

I had the vaccine this afternoon and I have a slightly funny taste in my mouth. It's only slight - I thought I was imagining it up to now!

My dh did for a day or two, seems fine now though (well he hasn't moaned so I'm assuming he's okay!)

This was my dad's only symptom. No sore arm etc, lasted about 13 hours.

Yes but only for about 2 hours. I yellow carded it.

I have that. Had the jab 8 days ago and I've still got the metallic taste. Did a Google search a couple of days ago to see if others have reported it but it doesn't seem to be very common. I'm late 50s

I'm late 50's and don't have a uterus anymore so unlikely

How do you know it's not actual COVID? I keep wondering this when people have post-jab temperatures.....

I had a temperature, feeling groggy and that taste change. I also likened it to early pregnancy.

I had to have a Covid test before returning to work, because even though it was likely to be a jab reaction, they wanted to check. The test was negative.

Im pretty sure it's not as I definitely had covid in February.

Yes! I had my jab at 10 this morning and had a metallic taste all morning. Can't taste it now but I've just had a Thai curry so can only taste that

Yes and my friend had it too. It went after a few days. Mine seemed to happen very fast after the jab.

I had that for about 20 mins, immediately after the vaccine. It was very strange. Quite overwhelming but then disappeared again.

I had my first jab yesterday Pfizer one and I had strange metallic taste in my mouth almost immediately was really strange its gone now though

I had it two hours after my first AZ jab, along with achiness and generally feeling unwell. The metallic taste cleared quite quickly, but I felt poorly for a good occupied of days and it was over a week until I felt right.
