I'll hold my nerve then :) I'll rearrange anything that clashes. We are so privileged to have our vaccines and I'm not going to moan if timing is a bit inconvenient.

So my experience isn't norm? I got an app for first through GP, at vax centre. I already have a date for second one in the same place, given on the first vax day. I assume the same for those who got the first at the same place.

I got mine via the GP as they had spares and I was there on that day so I was offered.
Few days later I used the national booking system to book my 2nd one in 12 weeks time

I've heard it might depend which vaccine you've had - if the GP gave you AZ you can book second on national site but if it was Pfizer you have to get second via GP. Does anyone know if that's correct?

I had a phone call Monday from my GP to have my first jab on Wednesday. At the time they booked me in, they also gave me a date and time for the second dose.

I had my first (AZ) mid March via GP text (Group 6). I've just been able to log onto the national service and book my 2nd for start of June at a hub - thanks for this thread! Feel quite relieved I have a date now.
