No.

Monkeytapper · 23/03/2021 10:25

No, think it’s just self contained cottages, glamping pods etc where you are not sharing inside communal areas/toilet facilities. So separate building, not hotels unfortunately.

Hotels is 17th May

ffs!
I was sure hotels were allowed from 12 april.
Why are places like premier inn allowed to sell rooms during April if people are not allowed to stay there.
Grrrrrr!!!!

You can book a hotel room for tonight - because for essential reasons such as work or travel for a medical appointment you've always been able to stay in a hotel.

Hotels have stayed open for much of the lockdown periods. DH has been all over the country throughout. Many people working on various infrastrucrure issues have been!

Because lots of people are still travelling for work or live in hotels during the week (very common practice in my DP's industry)

You can stay in a hotel for a vast number of reasons but not for holidays, even now. That includes work, funerals and all sorts.
The new rules are in these 94 new pages of statutory instrument by the way www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2021/364/pdfs/uksi_20210364_en.pdf
