I had my jab yesterday which I’m over the moon to have. I thought maybe I had Covid just over a year ago so was expecting to feel rough as I had read that it is more likely if you have already had Covid. I have a slight headache and feel a little tired today. Is it unlikely I did have Covid based on this?

I had positive test result end of last year ,mild symptoms , have had much worse viral illness's in the past .
I had vaccine last week and 20 hours later felt awful ,much worse than the actual virus, still not 100% and arm still painful 6 days later .
Not looking forward to next one although i have heard 2nd one less likely to cause reaction.
I will have to consider future corona virus vaccines .

I suspect I had COVID pre test days and had no symptoms after first AZ vaccine. DH either didn’t get COVID or was asymptotic and only had v mild symptoms after Pfizer jab. I’d much much rather risk a few side effects rather than death or long COVID , but maybe that’s just me!

I've had it and tbh felt pretty similar for 24 hours after the jab, to how I did for the majority of the actual illness.

I was lucky enough to get it fairly mildly though.

I had COVID last year and I also had symptoms after my jab. Not as bad as COVID itself but they were very similar...but without the cough and chest problems.
The jab symptoms went after 24 hours whereas as I was vey ill with COVID for 3 weeks.
