Spreading heat and redness on arm around area of vaccination

Hello, had the AZ jab Tuesday 16th morning. Felt a bit off colour on Wednesday but back to normal in myself by Thursday. My arm has ached throughout. But for the first day or two there was no redness or heat around the site of the jab, just an ache.

Now 5 days later and the site is very warm to touch and the skin is red. This area is spreading and now covers about a quarter of my upper arm. The ache is slightly worse too although in myself I feel perfectly fine (no temp, shivers, nauseau - nothing).

Do I seek medical attention tomorrow or is this a common reaction?

Sounds like infection to me. See GP.

Pretty common ime, i had the same, it was also extremely itchy for 2 weeks. Took 2 weeks for the redness and main swelling to go down, another 2 weeks after that for the grape sized lump under the skin to go.

This was 2 days after and it spread further than this. If your worried I’d call 111 or get go appt tomorrow

I'd have said go to see a pharmacist, but they're probably shut now. I think I'd call 111 and draw round it now as a marker.

Yes mine and Dh's were similar but to check it isn't spreading is draw a line around the edge.
