Essential travel to France [edited by MNHQ at poster's request]

Hello. We're going to have to travel to France soon due to an essential reason. Husband is also a French national. I understand we need a negative covid test/fit to fly certificates within 72hrs beforehand.

Is there anything else I need to worry about? Do we have to provide proof that we are visiting a sick relative and where we will be staying for example? I've looked online as it's not super clear what exactly we need to take with us.

Anyone who has travelled within lockdown to France shed any light on this please?

Since the 8th you need to fill a form to leave this country. Hope it all goes well
