Anyone knows this? Can we book it ourselves if we are in the right age group, or do we have to wait GP to contact us first? I looked at the NHS booking site, it looks like you can book it if you are the right age group.

Thanks. Do you know what's the difference? Do people get GP invitation go to GP surgery to take it and people book via the NHS site get allocated to the various site ?

It depends where you live - we have a centre in our town which is for GP-organised appointments only, the other one is available to anyone via the NHS website including GP appointments.

You will find a list of sites to choose from when you go through the booking process. You book both appointments at the same time if it's done via the website.

Yes, I did and had my first dose this week. I'm group six but my GP kept saying I'd get a text when it was my turn - got sick of waiting so tried the NHS booking site and was confirmed eligible and booked in straight away.
