If anyone is having second thoughts about having a Covid vaccine, this documentary may focus minds, and be a reminder of how ruthless and deadly this horrible virus is. The side affects of the vaccine may pale into insignificance. I'm having mine Thursday so will be watching.

More misery porn. No thanks. Life is gloomy enough right now.

AuntieStella · 16/03/2021 18:54

That's a bit harsh!

But I guess it won't be easy viewing

Katie517 · 16/03/2021 19:22

The vaccine is a personal choice which people should make their own decision about not be made to feel guilty from strangers on online forums or doom laden TV programs!

Waxonwaxoff0 · 16/03/2021 20:12

I'm sick of these programmes. Who on earth wants to keep reliving this horrific year? I want a bit of light entertainment on the telly thanks.

Indeed - we can't have facts and context coming into it can we now - just not the British way (at least these days).

Instead here's a link to my personal blog where I will teach you all the evils about vaccines, no I don't have any science qualifications but I spent 3 days doing my research so I know what I'm talking about...

Perhaps you haven't yet noticed the off button - most TV's have one somewhere on them....maybe try looking really hard!
XenoBitch · 16/03/2021 20:16

I would rather watch something funny and take my mind off of the real world for a while. I bet my dad will be watching this and getting on his sofa soapbox.

Completely agree
Waxonwaxoff0 · 16/03/2021 20:17

@notrub I'm not watching it. But every time you turn the channel over there's another bloody Covid documentary.

RedRiverShore · 16/03/2021 20:20

I'll be watching Netflix

herecomesthsun · 16/03/2021 20:24

Thinking about the past year is a valid thing to do for people who feel up to it. It isn't doom if it is just about what actually happened, it would in that case just be about reality.

Mind you I am currently watching Celebrity Bake off Stand Up for Cancer, but I would be interested in watching the programme in question at some point.

Haha - 1st world problem FTW Grin

I stopped watching broadcast TV about 30 years ago - best decision I ever made!

AuntieStella · 16/03/2021 21:23

I'm finding it moving

The account from Michael Rosenberg is interesting

herecomesthsun · 16/03/2021 21:53

It's very good. HTH.

Soontobe60 · 16/03/2021 21:57

It’s actually very moving and somewhat uplifting. But hey, those of you who dont want to watch it, no ones making you!

katienana · 16/03/2021 22:01

Watched it, at that point now where it doesn't tell me much I don't already know.
It did annoy me when the NHS staff were complaining about people visiting the beach but were standing right by each other with no ppe on. I wonder if they still think the same?
