What's the protocol now if your child is a "close contact" with a case at school.

Is it still, self isolate for 10 days.
Or is it,test daily and if negative, they can return?
Or is it down to the school?

I'm not clear on the protocol and neither is school as they've contacted PHE but just thought someone on here might know.

Isolate.

Isolate (unless you are one of a handful of schools trialling the crazy daily testing protocol)

Isolate (unless you are one of a handful of schools trialling the crazy daily testing protocol)
So PHE HAVE left it up to schools to decide?

don't think so no some schools have been told they are trialling the 10 day test every day thing. or possibly they volunteered. Either way the vast majority of schools are not.

No, it's not upto the school. Officially, the daily testing in place of isolation is paused.
A small handful of places are trialling it. I'm not sure how that list was generated, but it's not just something the heads have decided to do.
