When will playgroups open?

Ugh I feel like I've exhausted all wet parks and home activities with my 3yr old. Even the library is still shut.

Our local toddler groups are taking bookings to start from April 12. They are the more expensive privately run classes though, and they were generally smaller groups. Most of the community type groups haven't opened up since last March (but the private groups ran from August-December).

In most of the groups we would go and sit on a disinfected foam square, with a clean bag of toys, and there wouldn't be much chat between mums (but I didn't mind as I never talked much to other mums even pre-pandemic). Face masks were usually compulsory for the mums, although there were a couple of groups who allowed you to remove it once seated.

A couple of our local Children's Centres opened up for free sessions last winter but it was very limited and prioritised for dc who had no access to nursery (DD goes to nursery 3 days).
