I’m in group six apparently but don’t really know why?

It’s a mass vaccination programme. Some people will get called early. The thing to do is just turn up and take it - querying it just slows the programme down.

I was called this week with mild asthma

I’m 58 and just called. I’m not going to take it.

I don't think that's what the OP is asking, if I'm reading it right she's not sure why she's been offered one now.

It doesn't really matter OP, if you've been asked just go, it's one more person done

Just take it. For whatever reason they have accounted for you being in that group and querying it will take up time and admin that could be used vaccinating more people.
