No, just the text. Just turn up when it says

I think you need to call to book an appointment- it's not automatically allocated

Different surgeries are doing things differently I’d follow the instructions in the text

Presume the text is from your GP practice? Do you have a pre existing condition? People with pre existing conditions are being contacted by Thier GP and probably won't get a letter from the national booking service. People who don't have pre existing conditions are likely to get a letter from the national booking service first, but may also get an invite via their GP practice. If that happens you can choose whether to book through your GP or the national service.

What is it that you are finding confusing. If you got a text to say acll and book your appointment surley that is what you would do?

I don't understand why you would be confused.

My husband got a text from GP, but never received a letter, he is 64 with heart condition and was able to go to local vaccine hub. I got letter, but no text, no health conditions, 59 had to book through national website with vaccine centre some 8 miles away.

You got a text telling you to call and book by a certain date. What is confusing you about that?
