I’m wondering if covid / long covid affects fertility I did another thread about ttc after the vaccine but should have asked the above as well

I got pregnant WHILE I had Covid. 9 weeks atm and everything's fine. Should note that my Covid was mild and was restricted to my sinuses. I can't see how having Covid could affect an egg I made years ago (before I was born?). By the time the embryo was 'sharing' my blood (4-5 weeks) the Covid was gone.

Husband had Covid at the same time as me and didn't have any trouble fertilising my egg either!

Given the vast number of women who must have by now got pregnant since having Covid, I'm certain that we would have heard about it if there was any statistical evidence that it has an effect on fertility. Didn't 1 in 30 people have Covid in London at the same time at one point? That's a phenomenal percentage of the population. Has there been a decrease in the number of babies conceived in London since April last year?

@FeistySheep I’m exactly the same as you! 9+4 today and conceived while we both had COVID.

@ChelseaCat really? I bet there's loads of people who have conceived whilst having Covid, but how funny that we did it at the same time!
