I’m worried because of all the scare stories about fertility
Please can I have some reassurance ?
I have anxiety so I’ve read a few official things with facts but is there anyone who is actually pregnant after the vaccination?

Hiya,

I’m a community nurse, had the vaccine in January and conceived a few days later. Am now 10 weeks and as far as I am aware, all good so far.
I will be having the second dose when offered it, due to being in a high risk job where I can’t distance from my patients.

I'm pregnant after receiving my first covid jab. I was ttc for 8 years and had even done ivf during this time but 2.5 weeks after receiving my vaccine I found out I was pregnant naturally at age 38. So I must have conceived 5 or 6 days after getting the vaccine. So it had no negative effect on my fertility, quite the opposite! I've had my first scan and everything looks good with a healthy heartbeat. Im just curious how much protection I have against covid and for how long.

Were you to be unfortunate enough to get long covid, it would undoubtedly impact on your ability to parent.

@Saoirse82 and @AbiSnail92 congratulations! Do you mind me asking which vaccine you had?

My sons girlfriend is pregnant after having the first vaccine. Bit of a surprise as she's had chemo and radiotherapy and didn't think she's get pregnant naturally

Pfizer, wouldn’t have made a difference to me which one I had though to be honest, I would have taken any! :)

Saoirse82 · 06/04/2021 11:39

I had the Oxford one @katie517

Mamajules43 · 06/04/2021 11:41

Hevandbump · 11/06/2021 07:34

I've literally signed up to tell you we were trying for our baby for nearly 2 years... Had both doses and found out, only a few days ago were pregnant! Xxx

@worriesabout, I have recently discovered I am pregnant, having had my first vaccination in February, and my second in May. Due to other health issues, I have also had numerous blood tests in the past several months, specifically looking at hormone levels and ovary function - in no way related to the vaccines, all results have been normal, both before and post vaccines. I'm in the early stages of my pregnancy, but am hopeful for a positive outcome.

Whatshouldicallme · 11/06/2021 22:45

I got pregnant 2 weeks after my second jab.

Magino · 12/06/2021 20:11

Currently 11 weeks after both vaccines :)
