My daughter is in primary and I’m petrified about sending her. She is very keen and it’s important for her well-being so she is going in. I feel COVID is going to get us this time and feel very very scared. No family, no friends, no support here...I don’t know how we’ll cope if me and husband catch it at the same time.

That's all really positive OP! This corner of MN is generally very pessimistic about covid too, so maybe avoid reading the coronavirus topic for a while? I personally don't recognise a lot of what is posted on here in my real life. For context, I work with 100+ employees and we've been back in the workplace since June last year. We've had 2 employees test positive, months apart, neither person gave anyone else at work covid, both are fine. That's 2 out of 110 people in close proximity for 9 months, in one of the worst hit areas of England. Dd's school has 500 pupils - 1 covid case since September, no spread.

@AnxietyDrivingMyLife my husband and I caught it at the same time. I was 32 weeks pregnant at the time, and we also have a two and a half year old. It was tough, but we managed. Our two year old watched way too much TV, but we ordered her some new toys too and she was pretty happy. We bought a pulse oximeter to check our oxygen levels (mainly mine due to being pregnant, although my husband's cough was worse than mine!) and looked after the toddler in shifts. The hardest bit for us was the lack of energy combined with not being able to rest properly due to DD being a toddler. My pregnancy was thankfully unaffected and DD2 is doing well!
