Has anyone sent off a home test at the weekend?

Sent my test off yesterday afternoon, only had symptoms for a couple of hours so seems unlikely.
Got used to the routine of taking 4 month old DS out for a walk to get him to nap and he's not always falling for it in the living room 😂

Yes, in December. The post pick up was 10.30 am on Saturday. The results were emailed to me at 3 am Monday morning.

@Pushkinia thank you, so I can have hope for tommorow. I didn't want to stockpile on babies milk or anything so other parents struggled so as a result I recon we ve got enough till late on Tuesday.

January. Posted Saturday afternoon. Results Sunday.

It's not stockpiling to have two weeks worth of stuff in stock. That is sensible. I am cross that some people have made you feel bad about buying your child's essentials. There were loads of people trying to make people feel guilty for having two weeks worth of stuff in stock for self isolation periods. Buying beforehand when there is plenty is fine. I hope you have someone to help you if you are positive.

@BlackeyedSusan he goes through nearly 2 boxes a week and many shops had a limit of 2 at one point so I felt I shouldn't get 4 in one go.
We have a helpful neighbor if we get stuck and deliveroo has a couple of shops on it's just very pricey delivery which isn't ideal on SMP.

glad you have got help, try to build up your supplies gradually though. yes only get two when that is the limit, but get an extra one when it is not. even for things like knocking the bloody thing off the work surface.. (been there done that)

@BlackeyedSusan oh I have knocked one over before when filling some formula pots up, could have cried.

mine was only an individula serving, but a big one would have had me howling. they are expensive too.

BlackeyedSusan · 07/03/2021 13:55

ffs fingers not typing in the right order...

Result just came back as negative :)
@BlackeyedSusan when I split it he was on comfort milk, I know they want to discourage formula use but it's so pricey to feed baby.
