Timpsons are open. Some are outdoor booths which makes a good choice to visit - safer in fresh air.

True, not sure so want to think about what an open cobbler would look like!

My watch battery went during lockdown but it’s not essential so I didn’t go to get a new one to avoid exacerbating the global pandemic (of the deadly virus). I just use the sundial in the garden and the position of the stars to the tell the time.

Our local independent cobbler is open. They are doing quite reduced hours though compared to normal.
