Group 6 and I’ve been able to book my vaccine online

Has anyone else been able to book their vaccine online if they’re group 6?

I tried last week but it said I wasn’t eligible.

I spoke to the Drs today to try and find out when I will get my vaccine as I’m due back to work in 4 weeks.
I was told by the receptionist that they are working through the category and I’ll be called when they have appointments.

I’ve tried again tonight to book online and it’s let me book.

It asked if I was CEV which I answered no, i thought it would then say I’m not eligible but it didn’t, it took me through to book..!!

What’s Group 6? I knows loads of people who have had their vaccines who have health issues if it is that group.

@barm87 16 - 64 with underlying health conditions.

Over 60's can mow book online anyway so anyone group 6 and over 60 can automatically book.

I've just tried to put ds nhs number in and it said not eligible.

He is 16 and group 6.

Yes I booked yesterday through the NHS site as I haven't been called by the doctor although they did confirm I was group 6 when I had my last appointment.

Brilliant. I’ve been panicking thinking it’s let me book by mistake and they won’t give it to me when I’m there!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Someone reported on the other thread running about group 6 that the front page of online booking system has been updated to say Group 6 (clinically vulnerable) can book on that system.

Even if you’ve tried before and not managed it’s worth trying again.

Not going to be possible to book through national booking site I think due to licensing of AZ for over 18s only. So your DS will need Pfizer specifically, which means a GP must book appointment/coordinate with a hub where they can ensure this is available.
