Wwyd- just looked at NHS book a vaccine, put in my details and it says I missed my spot and to rebook (group 8)

I’m that person who checks it every day just to see what happens.
I’ve put in all my details properly-not claimed to be anything I’m not.
The front page says book if you’re over 60 etc.
But I stuck my details in anyway and it tells me that I need to book as I missed my appointment.
It then gives me loads of options for pharmacies and other places
Is it a glitch?
Shall I book anyway?
I’m 56 and well and not in a profession where I’m in contact with the public.
I have teens going back to school next week...

Mine has been saying the same for a couple of weeks, but then when I try and click through to book it tells me I'm not eligible. If yours is letting you book, crack on and do it.

Do you have walk ins? Where I live you can take your letter to the fire station and get it done

If I were you I would do what it says.

It is telling you to book as you missed your appointment so you are only doing what it tells you.

That is how I would see it.

I am insomniac at the moment and I idly checked in to see if I can book.
For the last few times I’ve checked, it said I’m not eligible when I put my details in.
Just now, it says I’ve missed my split and need to rebook.
I’m a bit worried I’m jumping the queue but I’m 56 so i know I’m due a vaccine soon

It wouldn't show you the appointments unless you were eligible.

Book it - as pp said it will only let you if you’re eligible.

It said that to me also, I went in to look as I am over 60 and received my letter, nowhere local, the next time I went in to look it said I had missed my appointment and to rebook so I guess just logging into it makes it think you have booked an appointment

I’ve logged in a few times in the past and used my details and it’s come up that I’m not eligible when I click through.
Today, i clicked through and it said I need to book.

It's a glitch in the system I checked this with 119
Once you have been in once it thinks you have missed an appointment just carry on it will let you book if you are eligible
The system has only just opened up to over 60s

If you can book then you’re eligible.

Mine also said the same time about missed appointments even though I hadn’t booked, I’m 32 and on the shielding list. I booked via my GP and it still said the same thing once I’d been and had my jab.

I booked!!
It’s at a pharmacy about 5 miles away tomorrow morning!
I’m now anxious about catching covid in the pharmacy!

@Lovelydaybut I used to be anxious about catching covid in the GP, pharmacy etc but what helped me is remembering I’ve never heard of an outbreak in such settings. You’d hear about it on the news if it happened. “Patients catch covid at VACCINATION CENTRE!!” etc
