Scottish/N Irish Mumsnetters: has opening primary school to infants affected covid spread?

Just that really.
We're in England. My husband is CEV and we're unsure about safety of the return to school for our primary aged DC. Infection rates are low in our area at present.
Those with infants returning in Scotland or Northern Ireland - has it made a significant difference to infection levels since they've been back?

They only went back at the start of last week here, so it's far too early to tell what, if any, impact this has had.

Only P1 - P3 are back so far. Haven't heard about a big increase in covid rates so far but they've only been back for 1 week

The P1-3 children only went back last Monday in Scotland so I suspect it's too early to say definitively either way.

He has, but no one is sure how affective it has been because of his treatment (he practically had zero immune system at the time of his vaccine).

It's far too early to say if covid rates have been affected yet. Only a small cohort of younger pupils returned to school and have only been back for 1 week

Northern ireland not back until 8th March and thats just p1-p3. Our school only had 1 case from September to Christmas however

I think its Wales who started returning the same time as Scotland
