I had mine yesterday at 3pm
Today my arm is a little sore and I feel tired and fluey (you know when your head feels a little heavy and my back aches )
I know it will pass in 24 hours
Did anyone else feel similar ?

Had both doses of Pfizer.

Slightly sore arm first time which was a bit worse second time but never so bad that it I interfered with my life or job. No other symptoms.

DinosaurDiana · 27/02/2021 11:50

Yep. It was gone next day.
Lots of threads on this if you search.

Just a slightly sore arm but feel incredibly happy!

derekthe1adyhamster · 27/02/2021 12:26

sore arm and a headache that was easily sorted with paracetamol (AZ)

Seeline · 27/02/2021 12:30

I felt much worse! Woke up in the night feeling very hot then very cold, really bad pains in legs and hands that kept waking me up. Arm was so painful I couldn't lie on that side. Finally woke up with a pounding headache - the type where it hurts to move your eyes, and feeling really spaced out. Had to take paracetamol regularly for a couple of days when headache finally went, but still really lethargic on days 3 and 4. Week later, still have a sore arm. Hoping the second dose is not as bad. Would still have it though.

Pretty much all topics on MN are a variation of other threads that have already been done to death. Just click on what interests you. The title was pretty clear on the subject 🤷‍♀️

I had the AZ jab at noon. Sore arm kicked in within an hour and is still a tiny bit tender 3 days later. Not at all in a problematic way.

I felt huge fatigue at 10pm but didn't sleep well. Woke up feeling just as tired and limbs felt heavy. Stayed in bed (had arranged to have the day off). Around 11am the tiredness vanished very quickly. Have been fine ever since. No other symptoms.

sunnydaleslayer · 27/02/2021 17:55

My mum and dad had it yesterday.

My mum is suffering. Headaches, nausea, chills. My dad is tired and has swollen glands.

Most people get over the side effects within a day or so AFAIK.

Doireallyneedaname · 27/02/2021 18:58

First evening I felt a bit floaty. Second day I felt fatigued and like I was coming down with something, also had a sore arm. Today my arm is a bit better, still feel quite fatigued and lacking energy but not as bad as yesterday. I had Pfizer.

AquaBlue30 · 27/02/2021 19:08

Had mine yesterday, arm feels fine. I have a headache and body aches, just feel really tired in myself.

Did anyone else get a copper taste in their mouth? I had that for a few hours after but thankfully that's gone.

I had the AZ.

EngTech · 27/02/2021 19:12

Sore arm for 2 days, then normal aches and pains 😂

billybullshitterz1n · 27/02/2021 19:14

Has mine on Tuesday. Had flu like aches and pains for about 36 hours after then I was back to normal

Purpl · 27/02/2021 19:18

Hot sweats the the morning after then cold feel like swollen throat and just exhausted grotty. It’s been nearly 48 hours now. Didn’t have sore arm as made sure did loads of arm excercise afterwards. Recommend the arm excercise it gets the fluid moving round body

Yes I had the metallic taste this afternoon. Got the aches and pains now
BigFatLiar · 27/02/2021 19:24

Next day I had a sore arm where they jabbed me, Apart from that fine, pretty much the same as when I get the flu jab.

RoseMartha · 27/02/2021 19:24

Not all at same time but in this order. Some lasted longer than others. Some over lapped. Currently still suffering from last one. Had vaccine on 22nd.

Sore arm
Nausea
Chills and shivering
Back and neck pain
Headache
Itchy rash over most of body.

BoobyBarbara · 27/02/2021 19:45

Fine the same day. Fucking awful the day after (chills, nausia, aches, fatigue). Better the next morning but then kicked in again that evening. Much better on the 3rd day and still fine thankfully. That was the Oxford one.

Queenfreak · 27/02/2021 20:07

I had pfizer jab Thursday afternoon- absolutely no issues at all. Was pleasantly surprised after everything I had read

AnxiousAlpaca · 27/02/2021 20:11

I had Pfizer yesterday morning. Arm hurt and by Friday evening I was so sleepy but had a rubbish nights sleep. Just felt very lethargic today, took all my energy just to do a bit of gardening. Arm still hurts a little too

MiniMaxi · 27/02/2021 20:17

AZ last Sunday - six hours later started shivering, then 24h of fever and feeling fluey - nothing paracetamol couldn’t fix. Then sore arm for about 2 days. Also had a stomach ache later in the week but could be unrelated.

I don’t really mind the side effects, happy to be vaccinated! Surely most people’s kids will have fever etc after vaccination - this is no different.
