I’ve only had a phone call from my doctors surgery to book me in, no follow up text/email to confirm. Is this normal?

Not all NHS booking systems text automatically. When I booked clinics in I had to input all the texts into a separate system. It's time consuming and they might not have got round to the texting part if they have a large number of people to phone this morning

Yep, that's all I got. Just turn up.

Great, thanks both of you 😊

Yup, I just turned up, joined the queue, and was asked for name/dob and they clicked on their list. We never get texts for appointments

I didn’t get any confirmation (others had from the same service) - I was nervous but they didn’t ask at the centre. My name was on the list.

Thanks folks

Just had another thought, do I have to stay off the alcohol tonight? They didn’t mention it, which they surely would have if it mattered?

Off to google it....
