How long to get a COVID jab?

I've got my jab tomorrow and I have major anxiety, I'm so thankful that I'll be receiving it but just wanted to hear people's experiences.

How long should I expect the appointment to be and what should I expect when I arrive?

It will depend on the size of the test centre, and how busy they are.
If you're popping into a local GP, the volume won't be huge, you'll probably be in and out. A large centre might take longer IF they're busy - but the one I went to is very large, but operating way under capacity; no queue outside, two lots of questions, maybe a five minute wait for the jab.
You'd probably get more idea asking someone that lives near you that's been vaccinated at the centre you are attending.
