Does a sore throat on one side warrant a Covid Test?

Didn't sleep well last night and today have woken up with a sore throat on one side (first sore throat I've had since February 20).
I had the vaccine 5 days ago and haven't been anywhere since.

I've had this a few times recently. It's unlikely to be covid, especially as it's on one side. I got a test anyway, so I didn't worry about it. It helped my anxiety. It wasn't covid.

Of course it doesn't, much more likely to be a vaccine side effect.

I wouldn’t think so. A sore throat is a common side effect of the vaccine.
“Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 people)
swelling, redness or a lump at the injection site
fever
being sick (vomiting) or diarrhoea
flu-like symptoms, such as high temperature, sore throat, runny nose, cough and chills.”
