I'm not meaning CEV/CV 16 & 17 year olds as I know they are already on the list.
Dr Hilary was on TV this morning and said that the "all adults by the end of July" target includes everyone 16+. I've had a good search online but can't find anything to say that 16 & 17 years olds will be included, anyone better at searching than I am?

The vaccine has been approved for everyone over 16 so I've always taken it as read that they'd be included in the rollout. Why wouldn't they?

Trials on children are ongoing too.

AFAIK no DC are being included in phase 2 of the vaccine roll-out and the only DC that are getting the vaccine in phase 1 are CEV and have been specially approved by their doctors.

There are trials currently happening on DC aged 12-15 with the Pfizer jab, which has already been approved for use in 16+ (at least in the US).

I know it was approved for 16+ but then group 10 is essentially 'all other adults' and the wording used would indicate 18+ I was surprised to hear Dr Hilary saying that group will be those 16 and over, which will be great news if it does as that is the age group that will be off to new colleges etc in September so if they've had their first dose before that it's got to be a positive thing surely.
