Tips for keeping work / life balance when back in the office next week

Been called back into the office next week, have worked at home for long periods on and off during the 3 lockdowns and have really enjoyed it. I’m delighted we seem to be getting closer to the end of this but if I’m honest there are parts of lockdown I ll miss and working from home is one of them!
Any tips for how to maintain a work / life balance when I’m back in the office and having the daily commute. Any healthy lunches I can take to work? Simple quick healthy meals to make of an evening?! I’m dreading it a little but trying to be positive!!

No tips, but is this allowed? UK advice is still to work from home if possible isn't it?

I’m wondering the same. Why does your employer suddenly think it’s ok to get you all back to the office?
Lockdown hasn’t ended yet unfortunately.

I work in a school as office staff.

Ah ok fair enough. Mumsnet permission granted Grin
Can you shorten your commute? Or can you walk or cycle?
This is what I’m dreading about going back into the office more frequently - back to the commuting hum drum. Rushing around everywhere, public transport problems, traffic etc..etc ..

Ha! Don’t get me wrong I wish we were still being allowed to continue working from home’ no unfortunately my commute is the way it is, there’s no option but to drive or train it, it’s approx 45 mins each way.
