What are peoples guesses when it comes to international travel for vaccinated brits from September 2021?

Do you think international travel without quarantine will be a possibility by then? (For those vaccinated anyway. And what about kids who won’t be vaccinated?)

And what about to countries with very strict rules, like Australia?

Just asking because I’m curious what people’s guesses are!

Any guesses?

My guess is Australia isn't going to open borders for tourism or non essential travel this year. They are going in to Lockdown when there are 13 reported cases in Melbourne so no I can't see that happening

Quarantine here may still be a thing if there are variants of concern. Other countries may impose quarantine.
Things in Europe will probably be different to UK because they are much slower to roll out vaccine and have high levels of vaccine refusal.
I can't see Australia or NZ opening up this year.

I think they are reviewing international travel to announce later in spring. I personally think they will bring back air corridors with countries that have low cases and/or high vaccination rates. Or they may go back to the shorter quarantine with testing on the 5th day. Travel and tourism are fighting for it and BA struggles at the best of times, I don't think they would want to let the national carrier go under if they can help it.

But I do think Australian and New Zealand will wait until everyone there is vaccinated.

I agree about Australia. I can't see us re-opening in a major way until 2022.

I'm in Australia and the govt is saying mid 2022 would likely be the earliest that international borders would fully open for tourists..

Ditto.

Hopefully we in Australia can go to NZ and some of the pacific islands quarantine free by late this year/early next.
