When are your secondary DC going back? (England)

Due the mass testing required, we've already been told ours won't be back in on 8th. More details to follow from school.

I'm annoyed!

Government now allowing schools to test in advance of the 8th so local school testing ahead and going back into classroom by 9th. Lots of parent volunteers to test, with teachers teaching.

Our school tested all the year 7s today, 8 and 9 tomorrow. So on track for everyone to be back in on the 8th.
It would be interesting to know how many cases the testing picks up.

Ours is testing at the end of next week and everyone will be in on Monday morning for lessons.

Need to check the mask supply again and maybe buy some new ones.

We found out Y10/12 on 8th, Y11/13 on 9th and Y7-9 on 10th

Everyone will return on 8th March. We have test appointment at the end of the next week at school car park. We have to drive to the school and have tests in own car to avoid entering school.

We've just been told y11 on 8th and one year back each day until y9 on 12th if negative or don't consent. Says the trust will abandon testing if they believe its inaccurate or unsafe.
