Just that really! Think I'm getting the Pfizer one, if that makes a difference. Will I be ok to drive back afterwards? Has anyone had one & got side effects? Just feeling a bit nervous really! Confused

You'll be grand. I'm a vaccinator and almost every patient says after "was that it?"
You'll be fine to drive after as well. Good luck

Don't worry, I'm sure it'll be fine. I had the Oxford AZ jab on Friday, and was worried about side-effects etc. Injection was so quick and didn't really hurt - I could feel it, but not painful. No side effects to speak of. My arm didn't hurt at all, surprisingly (they do ask if you're r or l handed, just in case, I suppose). I did wake up in the middle of the night feeling really hot, but went back to sleep. Felt v tired the next day, but pretty much back to normal by Sunday. Hope all goes well and try not to worry! Smile

I had the AZ vaccine and it didn't hurt. I always pinch myself at the same time though so it takes any vaccine pain away (distracts from it). Little tip for you Grin

I had chills and a fever for 24 hours but not that bad and perfectly manageable and I didn't need to stay in bed. But DH had no side effects with the AZ one. Two friends had the Pfizer and nothing. You'll be ok. I think you can drive after 15 mins.

Forgot to say, they advised me to wait 20 mins before driving home, which I did, but all was fine!

i had the AZ.
they made us wait for 15 minutes if driving.
had some chills and odd feelings that evening but not too bad and cleared up about 24 hours later.
almost a week later noticed slight heaviness, soreness when lifting that arm.
they inject it high up as has to go into muscle.

Didn't hurt. Waited 10 mins. Drove 15 miles home.
Felt rough the next day. OK the next.

Thank you ladies. I feel much better now. Flowers I doubt I'd notice any hot or cold chills with all my usual hot flushes lol. My adult DD is coming with me to keep me company, but I'm guessing she can't actually come in, which is fine.
