Why did we have the least vaccination number ever?

Today was reported the lowest number of vaccinations we have ever had since covid vaccinations started. Does anyone know why and will it suddenly go back up to a high level again?

It's always lower on a Monday. I think combined with a temporary supply issue.

The figure released today is for yesterday (Sunday) and numbers are always down on Sundays. I assume that not all centres are open on Sundays as the staff need some time off. Also, there's an expected drop in supplies as both suppliers are working on their factories to increase the quantity they can make, which takes down some of the production lines.

Temporary drop in supplies whilst factories sort manufacturing s they can produce higher numbers. It’s been known for some time this would happen so it’s factored into the plan.
