How is your relationship if you don't live with your partner and can't form a support bubble?

Many of my friends are in this position. Younger adults (although not at all) who live in houseshares and are not eligible for support bubbles as they live with friends, or in some cases, strangers. Also disproportionately impacting those who are lower income and less likely to live alone.

Many of my friends are in central London, so I suppose living alone is even less likely with the steep property prices.

They're (and me) in two groups:

a) don't see partner at all or see partner for walks

or

b) disregard the no mixing rule just for their partner only

What are other people doing? Especially in light of no household mixing until May.

Facetime. Its crap. But we live 145 miles apart so there's no meeting up for a walk. No staying over there as elderly parents live next door, no staying over here as there's livestock over there to consider. But we met before lockdown and we've come this far, so it literally is keep calm and carry on. There's no alternative.
