Jab side effects - anyone want to share the pain?

I had mine this morning. Was fine for a few hours. Feel hideous now - aching all over, chills, the lot.
I'm breastfeeding and my boobs ache too leading me to panic about mastitis but it isn't, it's just the covid immunity doing its job.
Anyone else sharing this night of hell... ?
Obviously I'm v pleased to have got the jab. I'm a recipient of a new shielding letter so the last week has been a bit of a shock.

For anyone watching this, feeling much better now, 24 hours after side effects hit

AZ 11 and a half hours ago now. Bit sore round the injection site but otherwise ok. Have sore lower left leg but don't think that's connected. Need to be up early for work tomorrow so here's hoping.

Hope you feel better soon YukoandHiro

Just to put a balance - in case some people are worrying - I had mine (Astra Zeneca) last Wednesday and have had no side effects at all. Not even a slightly sore arm. So it does seem varied.

Good luck @TalbotAMan - flu symptoms hit me at 12 hours after jab and lasted 24 hours. Still sore at the injection site though.

Yes both my parents also had AZ and had no side effects apart from a slightly sore arm. I'm in my 30s and it does seem younger the recipients are getting stronger side effects than the older ones.

I had the AZ on Saturday morning and felt smugly fine all day. Fell asleep on the sofa and woke up about 11pm freezing cold. All night I had a horrendous headache and it flared up my autoimmune condition because I haven't been in pain like it for a while! My DH brought me some paracetamol about 6am and I managed to sleep. I wasn't right all Sunday but regular paracetamol saw me through. Absolutely fine today. I would say for me the 12-24 hour point was the worst. Worth it though
