Anyone BMI 40+ with other conditions but not heard anything from the nhs?

Beginning to wonder if I’ve been forgotten! My medical records say BMI 40 morbidly obese, hypothyroid and anxiety.

I spoke to the gp last week about something different, first time I’ve had any contact with anyone from the nhs in nearly a year. I said I was too scared to go into the surgery for a test relating to the issue. I said that i’d wait until I’d had a vaccine, but that I expected to be a long way down the list and the gp said yes I expect so.

Do I need to do anything do you think, or shall I just wait? I’m opting for just waiting atm as I am coping by “head in sand” approach. My area is on the 65-69’s I believe.

If your dr's surgery is on 65-69s this is group 5 and the next category is group 6 which includes BMI of over 40. However, in some areas the big GP hubs are doing group 6 while the pharmcey led Hubs are doing group 5 and moving onto group 7 (ie skipping group 6 as this is being managed by GPs). The GPs decide who in Group 6 will go first. Worth double checking if your surgery has coded you with a BMI of over 40.
