Long covid and anxiety

Does any one have long covid which has brought on anxiety.

I had covid in September, very mild symptoms and then a couple of months later developed long covid symptoms, breathlessness, dizziness, fatigue. I've had a variety of tests at dr's - all normal (except for ecg but dr said no need to worry).

Since then I have severe health anxiety. Never experienced any thing like it. I'm considering starting medication for it

If you had covid
And now experiencing long covid symptoms

Then they are as a result of you contracting covid not brought on by your anxiety.

Oh sorry I misunderstood

I imagine anxiety and long covid go hand in hand

Yes I think covid damages the vagus nerve and the autonomic nervous system generally - causing anxiety.
