Fly UK to funeral in Africa? Allowed?

Does anyone know, been awful family loss, and some family, children are in UK, are they allowed to fly to Africa for funeral?

What is allowed will depend upon which African country they need to travel to and which UK country they are travelling from. It may be necessary for them to stay in a quarantine hotel on their return to the UK

Which country is it? A quarantine hotel may be needed which is a couple of thousand per person.
