Worldometer seems to show daily cases and deaths have peaked and are now falling

I am no expert. But hoping this means the pandemic is over the peak? I know you can get more than one wave (as we have experienced here in uk) but globally do you think you can get additional waves? Or perhaps we are over the worst?

I think it depends on the vaccine roll-out globally. Although the way that cases have fallen in India even without widespread vaccination is interesting too.

I know they expect Covid to be a health concern for pretty much forever. But I am always kind of hopeful that it will go against predictions and just mysteriously burn itself out
