My son asked a Q i cant answer. I might sound dim but if you’ve had covid recovered, they say you cant catch it again soon after but you can pass it on

My son asked a great question and i realised I actually have no clue! We have googled but i don't think we are framing the question right because theres no answer really
So lets say i have covid and recover fully, i have the antibodies so i am protected for a time. I get that.

But i can get it again to pass it on How? Do they mean as in via skin transmission ie i touch something infected give it to someone and they can catch it?
Or ad in i breath it in again and its there in me and i pass it on via mouth, nose ect but i dont get ill or have covid in me

I might come across hard of thinking posting this but heyho.Grin

I think if you get infected with covid shortly after recovering (or receiving the vaccine) you dont get ill again, but it is unclear wether you can pass it on.
What happens is the virus is in your body, but your immune system is fighting it, so you dont get ill. It's not clear if you can have a low enough viral load to stay healthy, but at the same time the viral load be high enough for transmission.
