Vaccination and high blood pressure

My mum is 63 takes medication for high blood pressure and had a heart attack previously, when will she be vaccinated? I thought she would be next on the list but she has been told high blood pressure is not counted as a health condition and she will be vaccinated with her age group. Is this correct?

I thought with associated heart issues, it puts you in category 6, unless your age puts you higher. I was shown a good gov.uk with a link, but it's not on my work laptop. (I am totally focused on my lunchtime meeting. Ahem.)

My husband had a heart attack last year and had bypass surgery, he is 63 and getting vaccine tomorrow, so presume he is group 6.

I'm no expert, but looked this up for a family member. My reading of the "Green Book" was that high blood pressure alone doesn't put you in a higher priority category, but that high blood pressure with associated heart problems would.

My DM also takes blood pressure medication and has a heart murmur. She is 58 and has been told she will be done with the over 55's which I was surprised at.

My mum has high blood pressure too and was done with her age group.

Update- My mum received a text message yesterday asking her to book her vaccination, so maybe they reviewed her case. Booked for later this week😀.
