Just wanted to share some good news for anyone caring for or supporting an adult with learning disabilities in Kent or Medway.

You need to ensure the person is on the GP learning disability register and it might be worth checking that your surgery know about the change in rules as mine didn't and I've had to send them the link!

Hopefully other areas will follow soon as the death rate for young adults with learning disability is 30 times higher, yet JCVI are holding out on including them in group 6 with other clinically vulnerable adults.

Hope this helps someone.
