I'm willing to follow the rules. Im willing to stay at home and never see anyone. Im willing to not let my 6 month old daughter have the maternity leave with me I wanted. My husbands grandma died this morning. We haven't seen her since February 2020. She was desperate to meet her great grandchild. And she didn't. So ill keep following the rules. And I'll make sure she knows about her great grandma. Im gonna continue staying at home but tonight I need to be angry

I am so sorry for your family's loss, you're right it isn't fair and I am sorry she never met here great child and your daughter her great grandma.

This is why the rules shouldn’t exist for much longer. Time is not replaceable and we don’t know how long we have left. My grandma has insisted on seeing me and her 6 month old great grandchild (last saw us not outside in October we had a chilly doorstep visit in December) in March once she has had her second vaccination and I’m not going to argue with that. We have no idea how long she has left and she has decided at 85 years old she wants to start living again. We forget that most old people don’t want to be locked away for their safety.

Well, this is it isn't it. In some countries being gay is illegal, so rules and law doesn't always make sense does it.
