I realise no one has a crystal ball, but what do you think are the chances that DH and I could have a few days in a cottage? This was originally booked for last Easter, but we pushed it back to this Easter, thinking everything would back to normal ........... !!

We are in England and looking to travel within England, ie not crossing any borders into Scotland or Wales.

Easter is pushing it greatly I think. We’ll only just really be opening up by then. I’d go for Summer.

You might get lucky if lockdown ends about then. It would be a bonus rather than taking it for granted.

May would be a safer bet.

Rumours are that tiers won't be an issue...

Realistically you just need to be allowed to travel more openly and the owner to uphold the booking, so it's the most simple arrangement you could have.

We're in exactly the same position. Booked for our household (me, DH, three kids) to go away last Easter in Scotland. Cancelled, rebooked for this Easter.

We're still hopeful. It's about as low risk as it can be - no additional risks compared with staying at home really. However if Nicola Sturgeon has her way nobody will be going on holiday ever.

We were away in October and it was so nice to be in a different place and looking at a different set of four walls.

Personally I think there’s a good chance that single households will be ok to have an Easter break in the U.K.
