Chances of skiing dec 2021?

What do people think? Would you take a chance and book a skiing trip for the end of this year? Do you predict the resorts will be open and we will be allowed to travel? I don't want to waste money obviously but would love to have something to look forward to.

Resorts are already opening this season in places (ds is dying to go!) but I guess they could close again, plus flights might be a problem.

I think the resorts will be open but there may be restrictions to flying eg Covid test before departure and return.
Unless you’re only considering one resort and a very popular hotel I absolutely would not book this early. It’s just all too uncertain. The country you choose may not even allow UK residents in.

We have been few times (family of 4) in December and each times we booked in September.

Do lots of planning, get excited but DONT book anything until much near time.

Thanks for that, maybe I should wait till after summer to book.

We're going to see what the situation is like after Easter with a view to booking December
