Letter says 21 February, but no date on the official Gov site, and nothing elsewhere.

Anyone know when an announcement will be made?

I don't understand how your employer gets to tell you that you can't work. Have they suspended you? Do they have a contractual right to do that because there is no right in law.

Reporting that shielding is extended until the 31st March Sad

@JuliesIpad a smear is not minor. I know it must be frightening but please please do don’t put it off any longer

Check your inbox folks,I just got a sheilding one from our mate Matt, and it's extended until 31/3/21. I know it's a case of low expectations with previous government communication about this, but I'm kinda impressed they've done it this 'long' before the 22nd. Think this will be the last one 🤞👍

They just want to keep me as safe as possible, probably so there is no recourse to blame them if I catch it at work. I shouldn't complain, I'm getting full pay. I'd still rather be working.

Gutted its being extended until 31 March. I don't get emails about it, just texts and letters. No text yet but I expect my letter isn't far off.

It feels that this bit of news snuck out under the radar a bit!

I’m not surprised that its’s staying for a bit longer. I’m due my second jab in April, and I was hoping to go to ordinary lockdown rules maybe 3 weeks after that.

It’s bittersweet to read of how tough people find lockdown, when to me the general population rules look like liberty central!

Tell me about it, I was merrily say in the bath not reading or seeing news to find Matt’s Email 😭

Absolutely. I was counting the days until the 22nd Feb and now this. I see it's from Robert Jenrick as well as Matt Hancock. I actually went out today, to collect some prescriptions. I know we are expressly told not to go to pharmacies but mine won't deliver and my GP doesn't do electronic ones. I absolutely refuse to impose on friends to run errands so I went myself. Liberty central, yes, I can't tell you what a treat it was to go out, in the car, to the next village.

Well, legally this is a breach of your employment contract.
