Unpaid carer group 6 Covid vaccines

Hi all , If you are an unpaid carer it’s worth making sure your GP has coded you on their computer system to ensure you get called in group 6. Ie fairly soon

In my area we have been told not to contact GPs about this.

I get a flu jab reminder by text as I am down as a carer on there systems. But can imagine the receptist not being happy about people ringing.
They can be pretty awful at my drs.

Same, though I emailed my gp last week as I am a paid carer (self employed) as well as a carer for my dd and have not had the vaccine. How are GP’s supposed to know if you are a carer (paid or unpaid)?

I know with our practice this can be done online with nobody distributed in the process!
